Container of Blessing

This is a brief update to share of the progress of donations in Brisbane being prepared to be shipped to Timor. I would also like to encourage you about the Lord’s work through the team who have started visiting Weberek again in the last month now that COVID-19 restrictions have lessened.

Geoff Steventon from Peakhill put me in contact with a group that was packing a container in Mt Gravatt, Brisbane. The group informed that their container was full but gave me contact details of a member of the Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, Rotary Club.

Volunteers at Work

Today a  group of us delivered 52 boxes of donations to the Rotary Kingston DIK storage and all donations have now been packed into the 40ft container in preparation for shipping. The donations are an assortment of birth packs, days-for-girls packs, baby accessories, clothes, toys, stationery and first-aid supplies.

Our donations fill approximately 5-6 cubic metres of the 40ft container. Please pray with us for funds to help toward shipping costs. If giving an offering toward shipping costs is something Jesus has placed on your heart, the details are below. All donations in Australia are tax-deductible.

Please pray with us for the safe passage of the container from Brisbane to Timor. Pray that all donations are distributed in Timor according to Father God’s will.

The Team in Dili

Today the team in Dili, (Moyses, Josie, Josete, Anarela & Lety), are travelling to Weberek for their fortnightly ministry visit. Praise God that restrictions have eased and the team have been able to visit Weberek again for the past month. During the initial visit, the chief allowed them to visit families bu

t they weren’t able to have the children’s program or house fellowship gathering. During their last visit, the fellowship gathering was permitted and, praise God, more people accepted Jesus to be leader and King of their lives. Please pray with us that the Lord adds to the number of people choosing to follow Jesus until the entire village has put their faith in Christ.

Please pray for safety for the team and for all that they need from the Holy Spirit to complete everything the Lord has for each of them in these days ahead.
