This morning our Pastor, André Schwartz, will preach from Exodus 20:8-11 on the theme, “Rest, Rejoice, Repeat.” Did you know that the Sabbath commandment is the longest of them all and that it occurs eleven times in the Pentateuch alone and more that a hundred times in the Old Testament? Yet, Jesus did some of His most controversial things on the Sabbath. So, it seems that the Sabbath is quite important! But is this law still binding on us, since Sunday is not the Sabbath? Come along and we’ll dig into these questions on Sunday morning.
