This evening Pr André will preach from Amos 6-8 on the theme, “It’s Not The Weatherman’s Fault!” Do you think it would be fair to blame the presenter who hosts the weather forecast if the day turns out different from the prediction? I think not! In this passage, it seems as though Amos, who’s delivering God’s “forecast,” is getting the blame! But let us, unlike the Israelites, listen carefully to God’s “forecast” – short and long term.
