Worship
True Worship is Honouring God 24/7 in Everything
God is some how looking for genuine worship and worshippers, so at 9:30 am and 6:00 pm each Sunday we gather together for meet with Him and worship Him. Praise, prayer, free-will giving, and hymns old and new are all part of the service.
Central to everything, however, is the exposition of the Word of God (What God has revealed to us about Himself and how he wants us to live.) and its application to our lives in the modern day world. Foundational to this exposition are the time-tested confessions and creeds of the Protestant faith, which our Core Values reflect.
Once every three months we fellowship together around the Lord’s table in communion, to remember and celebrate Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection and coming again in power and glory to receive His children.
You’ll notice we celebrate only two sacraments of Christ – baptism and the Lord’s supper or communion. As people confess Christ as Lord or children are born to believing parents they may be baptized as an act of worship to the Lord.
To cap it all, we fellowship around a cuppa’ after the service and catch up on the what, when, where and how of things that have been happening during the week. All of this together inspires and encourages us to face the new week determined to live a worship lifestyle each day.
